Iceland: Reykjavik, Vik, Golden Circle

We arrived, picked up our rental car, and drove into Reykjavik! We grabbed breakfast at Sandholt, and then checked in to the Reykjavik Residence Hotel!

It was quite early still, so we walked over and were the first in line to The Settlement Museum!

We took the bus to the National Museum of Iceland and explored. By then we were quite tired. We went back to our hotel room, took a quick rest, then grocery shopped!

We drove out to tour a Lava Cave in Raufarhólshellir, then went for dinner at Sumac. We rested, and then went for a Northern Lights hunting trip!

Driving heavy day! Thingvellir National Park, Kerid Crater, and then lunch at Fridheimar, a greenhouse restaurant!

We stopped at Gulfoss, Bru Horse Farm to feed some Icelandic Ponies, stopped at Srokkur Geyser and finally Bruarfoss before making our way back to Reykjavik!

We took a drive to Vik, where we took the Katlatrack tour to hike a glacier. In a super jeep over black sand beaches, we got a guided tour to Katla Ice Cave. We stopped at Skogafoss on the way back to Reykjavik!

We ended the night with karaoke at Kiki Queer Bar.

We visited Hallgrimskirkja, the cathedral in the center of the city, after getting some vegan pastries.

We took our time travelling back to the airport and returning our car, and departed!
